Giving back is an important value at Picture This Photography.
I created Serenity in Sunflowers as a way to give back & raise awareness for local & national charities.
This collection of images were captured during lockdown September 2020 while living in The US just as businesses were very slowly starting to reopen & social distance was still in full force, it was an opportunity for me to meet up with a good friend outdoors and brought me a lot of joy during a very uncertain time. When I discovered the Sunflower was the national flower of Ukraine I did not hesitate to decide this was a way for me to help raise funds and contribute. I created different designs in notecards & prints where sales contributed a donation to support children in Ukraine via Unicef. They now contribute to local & national charities as below:

Cancer Research UK - Race for Life to help Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work
Alder Hey Hospital - supporting local children's hospital fundraising
Claire House - helps seriously and terminally ill children make the most of the time they have
Salvation Army - support local vulnerable young people
Young Sounds Connect program- music support for low-income Liverpool families
I donated original Art to Love Jasmine, The Lord Mayor's Charity & local schools for raffles & fundraising
In 2024 Picture This Photography donated £220 to:
Royal School for the Blind, Spellow Library, Zoe's Place, Cancer Research UK, Alder Hey Hospital, Salvation Army, I donated Art to Love Jasmine & Aintree Hospitals for raffle, fundraising & display.
In 2023 Picture This Photography donated £200 to:
Unicef for Ukraine, Laura Lian Statues, Claire House, Children With Cancer, Alder Hey Hospital, Cancer Research UK, Salvation Army
In 2022 Picture This Photography donated £120+ to:
Unicef, Alzheimers Society, Love Jasmine & The Salvation Army.
