COVER-Razzle Dazzle & the Skyline, available as a photo print and notecard
Captured from Woodside one cold winter afternoon, I wanted to create the classic Liverpool skyline of the Three Graces with the colourful ferry to add a pop of colour. I walked up and down the waterfront promenade testing out the perfect position & angle to frame the iconic view then waited ages for the ferry to come into view & move to the middle of the shot for the perfect position! My hands were so cold I almost missed the shot!

JANUARY 2026 - Snow at the Cathedral (prints available upon request)
Since Liverpool has seen so little snow in recent years I made the most of the last snowfall spending over two hours driving the few miles into town to capture a proper winter scene. I wandered through the grounds & gardens of the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral photographing its towering sandstone walls against a fresh blanket of snow. The snow‑topped turrets created a beautiful contrast between warm stone and cold snow. This image was captured from Hope St through the railings and was my favourite from the soggy day!

FEBRUARY 2026 - Liverpool Cultural Quarter (prints available upon request)
Captured on different days in Liverpools Cultural Quarter on William Brown St the stunning neo-classical architecture houses the cities finest museums, libraries and galleries.

MARCH 2026 - Reflections in blue available as a photo print & variation
I really like this understated direction of the Liverpool skyline which I have captured in all seasons. The blue sky on a sunny day is always a welcome addition and makes everything look brighter & better. The reflections were in full effect during this mid-morning shoot. This image was captured from The Albert Dock across the Tide Dock and I love that it captures multiple layers of local history and the iconic Three Graces.

APRIL 2026 - Blooming at the BandStand available as a photo print & variation
Spring is always a gorgeous awakening of colour and there is nowhere more magical than Sefton Park for beautiful blossom. The area around the BandStand is lined with cherry blossom trees and always a popular place to visit. This image was captured from up on the hill behind the path on Good Friday and was actually packed full of people however with some elevation and patience I was able to capture this image focusing on the beauty of the bandstand in bloom.

MAY 2026 - The Beatles Statues at The Liver Building available as a photo print & card
The Beatles Statues at the Pier Head are the most photographed exhibit in Liverpool as rain or shine there is always an enthusiastic crowd surrounding them & waiting in line to be photographed alongside The Fab Four. The bronze Beatles statues (created by sculptor Andy Edwards) feature all four band members walking together on the waterfront & is depicted from a 1963 photo. They were unveiled on December 4th 2015 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' final Liverpool gig in 1965.
The figures include intricate details such as 2x acorns in John's hand (to promote peace), a camera with Paul, sanskrit on George's coat and L8 (his local area) on Ringo's shoe.
I spent a lot of time there trying to capture the statues without the crowds to no avail however one winter day, for a fleeting moment, it was just me and the Fab Four so I finally managed to get the shots!

JUNE 2026 - The Liverpool Sign available as a photo print & card
The Liverpool Sign sits in Liverpool One between the steps and The Albert Dock in a busy walkway filled with people day & night. It is a gateway to the city and being photographed there is a rite of passage for locals & visitors alike. There is not a child in Liverpool who has not had their picture taken infront of it, probably with their head through the Letter O.
It has been painted in many colour palettes & themes since it was unveiled in 2022; Eurovision, Lunar New Year, Halloween, Christmas and even for the opening of Sephora!
This was my favourite by a local artist who drew inspiration from cultural references, landmarks and character by combining bold linework, colour and layered illustration to create a blended street & graphic art look that was recognisable from afar while sharing details up close.
It took me 7 visits (yes seven!) to finally get a shot of this gorgeous sign that I was happy with: between the right lighting, angle & photographic perspective, the cars, vans & trucks parked for deliveries and the sheer amount of people around I simply kept going back until I was happy with my shot. Good job too as within a week of capturing this it was painted over so I am glad I persisted!
